Individual · Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Apprentice Electrician
Renewal term on this row: 12 months. 4 hours across 12 months.
Starter default: TDLR apprentice registrations renew annually. Four hours of continuing education are required each cycle, unless the apprentice is enrolled in a department-registered apprenticeship training course. Confirm the current rule before you rely on a renewal date.

Journeyman Electrician
Renewal term on this row: 12 months. 4 hours across 12 months.
Starter default: journeyman licenses are valid for one year. TDLR requires 4 hours of continuing education in each license term, from a registered provider, covering the NEC, Texas law and rules, and NFPA 70E. The provider reports the hours.
Individual · Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Master Electrician
